Supporting the Regional Tech Community

That Figures are proud to announce that we have become the latest sponsor for TechExeter, the fabulous Community Interest Company bringing together tech lovers in the Exeter region!

TechExeter manage events and collaboration platforms to bring together and grow our local tech community. The flagship event of the year is the TechExeter Conference, which is run in partnership with the University of Exeter Business School in September each year. This year’s event was the biggest yet, with around 200 attendees and 30 speakers covering a range of topics around the theme of security. The volunteer leadership team also run the regional NASA Space Apps hackathon each October, held in the Met Office HQ, put on a free GAME>PLAY festival, showcase STEMM at Exeter Pride Festival, as well as hosting regular meetups for the community.

As a tech startup in the South West, groups like TechExeter are fundamental for accessing and developing the talent pool that keeps our business on the cutting edge.
